They have requested our help in the search for a: - Chief IT Architect - Global Corporate - Your Tasks: - You are responsible for the Global IT Architecture of Global Corporate, acting as the first point of contact in defining the IT implications of implementing the global IT strategy. Functioning across borders, you will be in charge of the implementation of strategic solutions, developing the global IT Landscape and It master-plan, working in collaboration with Global Corporate BC & IT to make technological and application choices applicable to all global initiatives within the Global Corporate division. - Within your authoritative design role you will identify opportunities for application rationalisation and portfolio consolidation. Through the provision of IT thought leadership you will ensure the alignment of Global Corporate IT Strategy with the developing business strategy and requirements. - Implementing the global IT governance process you will ensure that the GI functional & architectural standards are adhered to and are up to date. Furthermore, using total cost of ownership management principles, you will ensure that changes to the existing portfolio and implementation of new solutions are cost transparent. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the local IT activity, managing the budget for the Global Corporate architecture team, understanding the current market place and the approaches to IT solutions as well as the overall management of the Global Corporate IT-Architecture deliverables and services. - Your Profile - - University Degree in Computer Science - - Specific Knowledge of Global Corporate and IT Change Management - - Experience in strategic IT solutions and application delivery - - Deep understanding of insurance operations and processes - - Profound experience in developing and implementing enterprise- level IT strategies - - Detailed knowledge of GI IT strategy & market dynamics - - Overview of GI software and platform technologies - - Sound understanding of the current application portfolio - - High level of awareness of global business challenges - - Strong interpersonal, influential, leadership and relationship management skills - - Excellent communication skills in fluent written and spoken English (German is highly beneficial) - Our Client offers the ideal environment for you to flourish both professionally and personally, with great advancement opportunities.
