Head Of Electronics Engineering- ASIC Expert Designer - For one of our client based near Lausanne, we are actively looking for a Head Of Electronics Engineering- ASIC Expert Designer. - As Head of Electronics Engineering you will be responsible for achieving the company’s technical development and products objectives. The role requires capability to deal on both a strategic and tactical level in planning, executing and monitoring of the company’s technical development and strategic decision activities. - Your Mission: -
- Technical coaching to the Engineer during the ASIC composition phases
- Lead the optimization of the electronics (analog and digital) to achieve the target performances (size, power consumption, brightness, image quality…)
- Create strong involvement of the team to achieve our client"s goals while keeping the planning
- Define short-term and long-term resources requirement in terms of team and software
- Create a strong innovation spirit with the electronics teams with a clear output on invention creation
- Define ASIC strategy (incl. foundry, cost strategy… taking into account our client"s business strategy…) for both analog and digital electronics parts
- Define and execute ASIC designs
- Define and lead the implementation of the technical solution for full eye safety in our client"s product
- Define short term and long term planning for all electronics activities that takes into account products, test bench and demonstrators development
- Define all the documentation, incl. test procedure and risk analysis for the high volume manufacturing of the electronics circuits
- Define and lead new electronics products development in case of customer or market specific requirements
- Your Profile: -
- Bachelor in Electronics Engineering
- Min 5 years of leading engineering digital and ASIC design team
- Expert in ASIC designing
- French is an advantage, English mandatory
- Open for travelling sometimes in Switzerland and abroad
